We recently purchased a dining table that came with 4 chairs, and a large bench. When we purchased this item at the Kitchener store the sales rep said that we would only need to assemble the bench.
We received our dining set in 5 BOXES. Not quite what we were expecting after spending $2,500. A bench, 4 chairs and the table ALL had to be assembled. When I called the Kitchener store where we made our purchase the girl whom answered the phone, Erica was her name, kept saying to me that assembly required was on my bill. I pointed out that you get your bill only after you have purchased item.
Worst thing is I wanted to speak with the manager, and when she finally got on the phone she PROMISED she would call back....still waiting for that call.
If I wanted to assemble my furniture I would have shopped at Ikea, at least when you shop there you know you have to build everything.
Assembly required should be noted on all applicable products so that customer know ahead of time prior to receiving their bill.
Worst Experience Ever
UPDATE: Wednesday. I contacted Ericka (operations manager) at the Ancaster location.
She is seriously an ANGEL. She called online support immediately while I was on hold. (he did not answer. Surprise surprise!) she then called the VP of bad boys directly and discussed my case.
The VP said she was handling it herself and would be dealing with online support tmr when she was back in the office. Ericka said that if I did not receive a phone call Thursday to call her Friday when she was back in and she would deal with it. We did not receive a phone call. But we did receive an email saying my husband had to go into a store to show his credit card we used online.
He did so. Emailed proof to online support. And we still did not receive an email or phonecall back. Friday I called Ericka back and she immediately called the VP.
When she came back she said she could have everything delivered to us tomorrow (Saturday) only the love seat we ordered was on back order. everything was delivered this morning by two of the friendliest delivery men. We could not be happier ! It was only until Ericka called that we received an email from online support apologizing for their mistakes and to set up delivery.
Going forward I would definitely NEVER order anything online from bad boys. And will be going to see Ericka at the Ancaster location from now on.
Keep pushing guys; it sucks that it took us a month of arguing and constantly calling. But we finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Who is better than bad boy?? Everrrybody!!
Ordered a couch in early July 2018. We were told it would take 3-4 weeks.
On the bill of sale it does say that they aren’t responsible for manufacturer delays, but they are responsible when they lie to their customers and the employees at the store say that they are told to lie. It is now middle of September 2018, our couch was supposed to be delivered on September 15th. No call or anything. Then they finally admit that the manufacturer doesn’t even have the leather for the couch yet!!
Poor business relations with customers, poor management, poor customer service, poor product. Get your place in order, fire and hire people.
Turn that dumpster of a place around!! The Lastman name has been shoved in a gutter!
Horrible customer service, horrible furniture
I have a sectional I purchached feb of last year. The middle cushion is warped and the springs are popped.
They sent a tech out that not only agreed with me that the couch needs to be fixed he said it was very uncomfortable to sit on. He then wrote a report that the issue was “cushion decompression”. The case was dropped because apparently that’s not covered but no one decided they should call me and tell me this, I waited almost two months before I called them and was informed of all of this. I argued that there’s no way my couch was just cushion decompression as it happened pretty much over night.
I asked for the tech to come back and she said no there is no reason for that. You can hear the springs grinding when you sit on them. I told the girl I would never buy anything from bad boy again and that people need to know that the furniture being sold through them is crap. You focus on getting the customer, but you do squat to keep them.
I’ve furnished my whole house through them because I thought I was getting great deals when in the end all I have is a headache and some horrible furniture.
I’m so upset and the worst part is customer care, defiantly does not care. Thanks bad boy for being a pain in my *** Literally.

This is the worst place ever, rude and disrespectful staff and managers. I had a terrible experience with bad boy-Kitchener Store- .
I bought a set of kitchen table and four chairs. Once I received them, I noticed two chairs were seriously damaged. I reported that same day and they told me it’s a floor model and discontinued therefore they can’t not replace the chairs. I told them that I want to return the set.
After many calls they said they found two chairs but do not know when they could deliver them, could be 6-8 weeks or more. I hated the deal and the set and I felt they were lying to me. I went to the store in Kitchener to talk to the manager as I thought the employee who I talked to on the phone were rude and not trained enough to do a good customer service. Surprisingly the Manager(s) were more rude and arrogant.
After a long discussion and very bad attitude from Saleema, the manager, she forced us to pay a penalty of 25% of the total payment which includes not just the price of the product but the warranty we bought, HST, and shipping too.
Terrible experience with bad boy-Kitchener Store-, never will I ever step foot into that facility again. Not recommend at all
