On November 19, 2016 I purchased a leather recliner sofa and love seat from your Barrie location. Delivery was set up for Friday November 25, 2016.

I received a call before the delivery date asking if my delivery date could be changed to the 2nd of December as they had over sold the product and had to wait for a new shipment to come in. However, when the delivery came the sofa was damaged and both pieces had tags attached one saying floor model the other saying last chance final markdown. The product code on this tag was for a 6 piece bedroom set. I called the store to advise of the error and receiving damaged floor model product when I ordered new not floor model.

I was told that someone would call me the next day. When nobody called me back I called again on Sunday, I was then told that the delivery department was closed and they could do nothing until Monday when they would need to find out where my delivery went. I did receive a call back from the Manager named Steve who told me they couldn't find where my order went and they basically could do nothing until they found my shipment. I heard nothing back from anyone so again I called and was told they could find where my order went, then said well did you receive a similar product of what you ordered.

and that someone from head office would be calling me again nobody called. After waiting for 3 weeks I went back to the store on Sunday December 18, 2016. There I spoke to the original sales person that I dealt with on my first visit, she took me to a manager's office who did not give me his name but told me there was nothing he could do he had never heard about this complaint before the told me to go to the counter and the girl there would take my complaint and send it to customer service, this was also the first person that took my original call the day of delivery she was also surprised that there had been no resolution but also told me that this product was no longer available. She sent another email to customer service and told me I should receive a call from customer service today, I never received a call again today.

When I purchased the sofa and loveseat I also paid for an extended 5 year warranty under the assumption that I was receiving new product not previously damaged floor models.

I would never have paid $170.00 for warranty on a product that was floor model. I am very disappointed with your company and would never recommend anyone to shop here

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $1638.

Preferred solution: a replacement of new furniture equal or better quality at no extra charge to me.

Bad Boy Furniture Cons: Very disapointed with customer service.
